–  CAJUN COFFEE SPICED BRISKET  –

With Lemon Pepper Fries

"An old favourite with a twist, very delicious and spiced just right! "

 

Beef Brisket                                                          1kg
French Maid Cajun Seasoning                           Enough to cover
Coffee Grinds                                                        2-3 tablespoons
Agria Potatoes (peeled)                                      4 large potatoes
French Maid Lemon Pepper Seasoning           To taste
Olive Oil (light)                                                      4 tablespoons
Salt and Pepper (black ground)
French Maid Garlic Aioli                                     4 tablespoons

 

Prep: 20 Min | Cook: 4-5 Hrs 

 

 

Season the brisket with French Maid Cajun Seasoning, coffee grinds, salt, and pepper. 
 

Rub into the beef and leave for 4 to 6 hours to marinate.
 

Sear in a hot pan until brown. 
 

Place in a deep tray, add 1 cup of water, cover with foil and place in an oven at 130 degrees Celsius for approximately 4 – 5 hours until tender.
 

Cut the potatoes into chunky chips, fry till golden in colour. 
 

Season with French Maid Lemon Pepper Seasoning.
 

Serve on a platter with Beef Brisket and French Maid Garlic Aioli.
